Coven

Extreme Harlequin

The Harlequin trait is a polygenic morph producing bold, high-contrast patterning with rich cream, orange, and brown tones. The "Extreme" designation indicates exceptional expression — deeper saturation, sharper contrast, and more dramatic pattern coverage than standard Harlequin animals. Both Coven's sire and dam carry the Extreme designation, concentrating the trait through both sides of her pedigree.

Moonphase Geckos Line

Moonphase Geckos is a respected breeder line developed to consistently produce high-quality Extreme Harlequin crested geckos. In crested gecko genetics, a line is a group of animals refined by a specific breeder over multiple generations to enhance a particular trait. Coven's entire top two generations — Temper Tantrum and Witchcraft — both originate from this line.

Multi-Line Harlequin Heritage

Coven's extended pedigree draws from some of the most established Harlequin lines in the hobby: Scaredy Cat Geckos, The Minagerie (Mina Kim), Repashy, Harley Geckos, JB's Cresties, and Mama T's Cresties. This breadth of genetic diversity, all concentrated on the Harlequin trait, positions Coven to produce consistently high-quality offspring.

Lineage Tracking

Lineage tracking — following matriarchal and patriarchal visual examples — is the current standard in the crested gecko community for predicting breeding outcomes and trait expression. Coven's documented pedigree spanning four generations allows us to make informed pairing decisions and set realistic expectations for offspring quality.
