Super Dalmatian
Dalmatian is a dominant trait in crested geckos. The Homozygous (Super) form passes Dalmatian to 100% of offspring, confirmed through breeding data. Lagertha's high-density spotting is the result of both Pangea-bred parents carrying and expressing the trait — breeding like to like to stack and intensify spot expression.
Clean Pattern Expression
Pattern clarity and contrast in crested geckos are polygenic traits — influenced by multiple genes each contributing a small effect. Line breeding animals with similar high-expression phenotypes is how breeders amplify these contributions, producing offspring with well-defined spot boundaries and strong contrast against the base coloration.
