About Riot
Riot DR-20 is a striking Harlequin male breeder at Daggi's Reptiles, sired by Crotch Rocket out of Truffle. His bold patterning and strong lineage make him a standout in our Harlequin breeding program.
His sire Crotch Rocket brings high-contrast Harlequin genetics, while his dam Truffle contributes complementary coloration and pattern depth. Together they produced Riot's exceptional expression.
Riot is paired with Rune for the 2024 season and with Mystical for the 2026 season. We look forward to seeing the offspring from these exciting Harlequin × Lilly White and Harlequin × Phantom crosses.

Genetic Traits
Phantom
Phantom is a recessive trait — visually expressed only when Homozygous (two copies present, one from each parent). In Heterozygous form the animal appears normal but carries the gene. Phantom is notable for losing dominance near the tail base and laterals, where other traits can push back through, creating complex pattern interactions in combo morphs.
High Orange
Base coloration in crested geckos is influenced by xanthophores and erythrophores — pigment-producing chromatophore cells responsible for yellow and red/orange tones. High Orange reflects strong expression of these pigment cells, producing vibrant orange coloration that intensifies when the gecko fires up.
Yellow Spots
Dalmatian spotting is a dominant trait in crested geckos — confirmed through breeding data showing predictable 50% or 100% pass rates depending on whether the parent is Heterozygous or Homozygous. Riot's yellow dalmatian-style spots are a distinct phenotypic expression of this trait layered over his Phantom base.
