About Secret Sauce
Secret Sauce is a striking male Dark Phantom crested gecko from Whoo's Geckos. His deep, rich coloration — fired up to a near-black with subtle patterning — is the hallmark of quality Dark Phantom genetics, a morph prized for its dramatic, sleek appearance.
The Dark Phantom morph produces animals with deep, saturated base colors and reduced or absent patterning, creating a sleek, dramatic appearance. Secret Sauce's expression is exceptional, with rich dark tones and clean lines that make him one of the most visually striking males in our collection.
Secret Sauce is paired with Mystical for the 2025 season. The Dark Phantom × Phantom cross is an exciting pairing that we expect to produce offspring with exceptional depth of color.

Genetic Traits
Dark Phantom
A recessive morph producing deep, near-black coloration when fired up, with minimal visible patterning. Dark Phantoms are highly sought after for their dramatic, shadowy appearance and the exciting offspring potential when paired with patterned morphs.
Phantom Carrier
Secret Sauce carries the Phantom gene, which can be passed to offspring. When paired with a Lilly White female such as Mystical, there is potential to produce Lilly White Phantom offspring — one of the most coveted combinations in crested gecko breeding.
Fired vs. Unfired Expression
Secret Sauce's coloration shifts dramatically between fired and unfired states — a characteristic feature of the Dark Phantom morph. Fired up, he presents a rich, deep brown-black; unfired, his base tones lighten considerably.
Breeding Pairings
Lilly White
Paired with Mystical — female Lilly White from ZenGex. Potential for Lilly White Phantom offspring.
